JSPM’s Imperial College of Engineering and Research was founded in 2006. The Imperial College of Engineering and Research at JSPM is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited it with a grade 'A'. It is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University. ICOER has been providing high-quality education in the fields of engineering, management, and technology for over a decade.
ICOER UG courses are available in computer engineering, electronics and telecommunications, mechanical engineering and civil engineering, and postgraduate courses in engineering and management. The Imperial College of Engineering and Research at JSPM has a training and placement cell that not only provides placements but also helps students choose the right career path. The ICOER Placement Cell assists students in preparing their resumes and provides all necessary training for placements. It also serves as a point of contact for corporates interested in hiring from the college.
In collaboration with GTT, NASSCOM and Barclays, the JSPM ICOER placement process includes communication training, interview and soft skills training. This training programme will assist students in enhancing their employability skills. The ICOER Pune campus academic buildings, hostels, auditoriums, libraries, and cafeterias are well-designed with modern facilities to support students in their quest for learning and provide access to a wealth of materials, equipment, and information.
The JSPM ICOER campus has modern computer labs with cutting-edge tools, technologies, and internet access. Each lab has a dedicated administrator and programmer who keeps the lab resources up to date. All JSPM colleges have wifi, which allows students and researchers to stay up to date on emerging trends and information.
JSMP ICOER hostel accommodation is offered only to girl students. There are two girls' hostels. All students have access to two common kitchens and mess rooms. The mess serves vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, and the units are overseen by a five-person student mess council. Every student in the ICOER hostel is provided with basic amenities such as a cot, table, chair, ceiling fan, and cupboard. Solar water heating systems are installed in each hostel.
ICOER provides transport facilities for the students and staff from all corners of the city. JSPM has a fleet of more than 200 buses offering efficient and affordable access from any vicinity of Pune. The college bus facility is provided to all-year students and faculty. The bus facility is also extended to students of senior classes for visits to industries and surveys.
JSPM's Imperial College of Engineering and Research provides facilities for football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, caroms, badminton, and throw-ball (for girls). A well-equipped gym with seating for 70-80 students is also available. There is a separate cricket ground. Other recreational facilities, such as a separate gym for girls, a painting club, a music club, and so on, are being developed through the Student Activity Centre (SAC).
JSPM ICOER has a medical facility for all occupants on campus, along with a physician who is assigned to visit the sickroom on a regular basis to conduct health checks on students and staff. An ambulance is available on campus 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Lifeline multispeciality hospital and ICOER Pune have signed a ‘Memorandum of Understanding’. The hospital provides discounted health care services to students and staff. The students are covered by the affiliating university's 'Unforeseen Calamity Scheme.' All laboratories and workshops have first-aid kits.
Medical services are available to staff and students both during and after working hours at the institute (for students residing in institute hostels).

The college offers several fee reduction programmes to students who meet the eligibility requirements. It also enables admitted students to take advantage of government scholarship programmes. Applicants can follow the steps below to apply for admission at JSPM ICOER Pune.
Step 1: Eligible candidates must complete an online application form for centralised admission to engineering (UG/PG) and management (PG) on the DTE Maharashtra official website.
Step 2: After completing the application process, candidates may verify their documents and online application form at facilitation centres.
Step 3: Candidates can check the provisional merit list of candidates who have confirmed their online application form, released at www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in.
Step 4: In case of any grievances, candidates can file a complaint at the facilitation centres.
Step 5: After the final merit list is released selected candidates may head on to the ARC (application form and receipt centre) for in-person confirmation of the Round I option form.
Step 6: After the CAP Round I Allotment list is released candidates may report to ARC in accordance with CAP Round I allocation if he/she is ranked.
Step 7: Candidates not ranked in the first round, head over to in-person confirmation of option form for Round II at ARC.
Step 8: After the CAP Round II Allotment is released candidates may report to their respective ARCs in accordance with CAP Round II allocation. If not, proceed to CAP Round III by counselling and reporting to ARC.
